IT Systems Administrator

Reflexion Health is seeking a highly motivated and driven IT Systems Administrator who has a passion for designing and implementing functional and cost-efficient IT systems. The IT Systems Administrator should be highly analytical and able to understand business needs. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are essential. The goal is to leverage technology to improve end user productivity and to meet organizational needs. The position will report to our IT Manager.

What You'll Do

  • Resolve help desk issues including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Manage multiple tasks to deadlines; communicate progress at regular intervals
  • Generate and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures
  • Provide network support, troubleshooting and administration
  • Implement employee security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures
  • Schedule maintenance windows and perform system updates
  • Perform periodic IT system audits and maintenance
  • Provide exceptional customer service in person, via telephone and email for internal and external end users
  • Perform user administration duties (e.g. onboarding, offboarding, troubleshooting)
  • Troubleshoot and debug IT systems to ensure error-free functionality and end-user satisfaction
  • Develop, test, and implement IT systems to further business objectives
  • Plan and oversee projects (e.g. upgrades, hardware/software installations)
  • Work with management to determine IT objectives that will improve business outcomes
  • Leverage knowledge of cutting-edge technologies to optimize organizational efficiency
  • Participate in team meetings; provide input on intelligent solutions to improve efficiency
  • Keep abreast of technology trends and developments
  • Expand and enhance HIPAA compliant IT systems and infrastructure

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience working in an end-user desktop support role or computer operations environment (6+ years)
  • Proficiency in administration of Windows Desktop operating system (4+ years), MacOS Desktop operating system (4+ years), Windows Server operating system (3+ years), and Linux operating system (4+ years)
  • Proficiency in administration of Office 365 and Active directory
  • Proficiency in programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
  • Ability to write small to medium-sized scripts in modern programming languages including but not limited to PowerShell (demonstrable)
  • Experience using remote administration tools (e.g. RDP, TeamViewer, VNC)
  • Experience with cloud managed wireless network infrastructure (e.g. Meraki, Ruckus)
  • Experience with managed Layer 3 LAN switch stacks (e.g Cisco, HPE, Juniper)
  • Experience with firewall management (e.g. Sophos, Checkpoint, Cisco)
  • Experience with centralized endpoint protection (e.g. Sophos, Eset)
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. AWS, HyperV, VMWare, Xen)
  • Experience supporting conference rooms audio visual systems
  • Must not fear the cloud
  • Understanding of IT security and network risks
  • Exemplary communication skills; ability to explain complex, highly technical information to non-technical colleagues using clear, simple language
  • Experience in managing projects to completion
  • Must be highly motivated, independent, and organized
  • Self-driven in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask effectively

Desired Skills

  • Experience using and supporting Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc)
  • Expertise in the PowerShell programming language
  • Proficiency in administration on the Amazon Web Services platform
  • Proficiency in operating system and cloud infrastructure configuration management systems including but not limited to Terraform
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM administration
  • Experience in the healthcare industry with a knowledge of HIPAA and FDA regulatory requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent degree and experience).
  • 6+ years of experience in an Information Technology related position.
