Fortune: Virtual PT “May Be More Effective and Cheaper”

Covering the recent Journal of Knee Surgery study suggesting that the use of our Virtual Exercise Rehabilitation Assistant (VERA™) system by knee surgery patients “resulted in associated savings in time, steps, and money for patients, providers, and payers,” Fortune has published an article examining whether virtual PT "may be more effective and cheaper than the old-school variety."

In the article, Sy Mukherjee describes how the goal of the study was "to help patients stick to the physical therapy regimens that can help them recover from those kinds of serious surgical procedures," using virtual physical therapy — specifically, out VERA platform. 

And, according to the results, "it was a success," Mukherjee notes, "with 80% of the participants sticking with the home PT regimens prescribed by their physicians." (That rate is typically between 35% and 70%.)
